Born and raised in Michigan, early in his career Roy Alberts worked for Ford Motor Company.  Later, his burning desire to contribute more to society than just working 9 to 5,  he left the automobile manufacturer and landed a job working for News Talk Radio WJR one of the largest an most powerful radio stations in the mid west.  There he befriended and worked with Consumer Gladiator Joe Gagnon.  Joe hosted a radio show called The Appliance Doctor. There he help radio listeners with there appliances, more importantly he made it his duty to make the public aware of badly made products and unscrupulous appliance appliance companies (google The Joe Gagnon Appliance Repair Act).

Roy eventually left the radio station and took what he learned from Joe Gagnon about holding companies accountable for quality and ethics with him into the hot tub industry.  Roy has been in the spa and swim spa industry for over a decade now. His experience  includes customer service, consumer advocate, maintenance, sales, manufacturing, dealership owner, retailer, marketing, advertising, and a lover of the benefits of enjoying a spa and swim spa.  Through experience and research he has become known as the spa/swim spa industry's expert. He is dedicated to educating the consumer on all aspects of  spas and swim spas so that they can enjoy all the health and wellness benefits a spa and swim spa can bring.
